Description

VOLUNTEER CO-ORDINATORS FORUM

Our volunteer coordinators’ forum brings together people who manage volunteers. It’s a great way to stay up to date with and learn about best practice around volunteer management, to benefit from peer support, and to network with other volunteer coordinators.

Date: 12 November 2019

Time: 10:00 – 13:00

Venue: Worthing Town Hall, Gordon Room

Our topic this time: Trends in Volunteering: and what they mean for Volunteer Co-ordinators
We will look at:
• National trends – how do your volunteers and roles compare?
• What do the trends mean for us in our recruitment, support and retention of volunteers?
• How can we make best use of the opportunities that trends present?

Course lead: Hazel Roper

Our forum is open to anyone who has direct responsibility for managing or coordinating volunteers, regardless of the size of your organisation and whether your role is paid or unpaid. We welcome people who are experienced and less so, as the format helps everyone to learn from each other.
